My name is Yongqin, and I’m a 4th-year in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. I research privacy mechanisms in the Cloud. I’m reaching out today to ask you to join me in signing on to the GSWs United for Workplace Justice letter.
In response to years of administrative inaction and unaccountability, GSWs across USC are taking action to create change. Last month, the GSWOC-UAW bargaining team introduced proposals that would ensure strong support and protections for GSWs, specifically GSWs who are survivors of discrimination/harassment/
GSWs in every department are signing on to the United for Workplace Justice letter. As an international GSW who believes in our collective power as workers, I was proud to add my name, and this week, I’ll be talking with my coworkers about why they should too.
